With the anticipated release of Mi’s Illegal Music 3 Mixtape, the rapper decided to appease his fans with the exclusive release of one track off the mixtape. The track is produced by G-Plus and MI himself. It’s a pretty deep and thought-provoking track that seems to address quite a few issues.
He starts off, “I have seen the
paper turn a man against his maker. Started making bread and now he
don’t respect the baker”. “Gotta get a broom I got some roaches in my
closet” MI continues as he narrates events that led to him taking over
Chocolate City. In a bittersweet tone, he enters the second half of
track with a message to both upcoming artists and the ‘Made Men’ by
saying “I have seen kings not aware of their successors, waiting in the
wings they are blinded by their successes. Cause while I try to give you
every detail of my essence, until your time is come you will be blessed
within my presence”.
