They were unveiled as the hosts of the 2015 Headies Awards today.
The show which is billed to come up on December 30th at the Landmark Events Centre, Lagos has many artistes lined up to perform.
Leading the pack of musicians who are being rewarded for outstanding works is Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide or Baddo, whose works are nominated in seven categories including the nomination for his producer, Young John.
This is the 2 time Bovi has been announced as a host
for the Headies. The comedian was initially billed to host the 2014
edition of the award alongside Toke Makinwa but he was replaced by Basketmouth due to logistic reasons.
Olamide
is top of the nomination table for this year's Headies with eight nods
including – Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (twice), Best
Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Song of
the Year.

Following closely is Wizkid,
who has seven nominations in Recording of the Year, Best RnB/Pop Album,
Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year,
and Song of the Year.
Contending for one of the biggest awards of the night – Artiste of the year are Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, and P-Square.

The highly prized Next Rated category will see Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh slug it out.
Other new nominees at the Headies are Falz The Bahd Guy, Mr. 2Kay, Small Doctor, Ugovinna, Di’Ja, Shaydee, Simi and Aramide.

The Hall of Fame Award which has celebrated industry heavy weights like Obi Asika, Kenny Ogungbe and D1, Philip Trimnell, Grand Master Lee, FAJ, and a host of others shall be inducting Pop super star, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia.
